Many new Ram, Jeep, Dodge and Chrysler vehicles on our lot in Portage la Prairie carry one of two manufacturer offers this month: Consumer Cash that is already in our posted price, or 0% financing instead of it. The offers run October 1 to November 2, 2026. Below are the offers we would point a Manitoba buyer at first, each fronted by a vehicle on the lot; every other offer is on its brand page.

0% financing or the Consumer Cash: which is better for a Manitoba buyer?

Most new car deals in Manitoba come down to this one choice. Our posted prices already include the Consumer Cash, so choosing 0% means paying a higher price to get the lower rate. The effective rate under every 0% offer counts the Consumer Cash you give up as a cost of borrowing, so compare it with the standard rate. As a hypothetical, giving up $10,000 on $65,000 financed works out to about 4.9% over 84 months but about 8.4% over 48. So shorter terms, cash buyers and outside financing favour keeping the Consumer Cash. Every card on this page and the brand pages prints its own effective rate so you can make that call on the vehicle you want. 2027 models are the exception this month: they carry no Consumer Cash, so their 0% gives nothing up.

Questions

What credit score do I need?

There is no published cutoff, because the program lenders weigh your whole file. Apply here with no obligation, or read our credit score guide.

Should I lease or finance?

Finance if you keep vehicles a long time or drive a lot, and lease if you want a newer one every few years. Our leasing or financing post works through it.

Is the price all in?

Yes. Manitoba law requires all in advertised prices, so ours include every fee and any Consumer Cash, with only GST and PST on top.

Can I trade in a vehicle I still owe money on?

Yes, it is common, and the balance owing is handled as part of the deal. Our post on trading in with money owing explains how it works, and you can get a trade value before you make the drive.
