Federal luxury tax

Since September 1, 2022, vehicles priced above $100,000 before tax may be subject to a federal luxury tax. The tax is the lesser of 20% of the amount above $100,000 or 10% of the full price. It is charged in addition to PST and GST. See the Government of Canada website for official information.
