The rest of the time it is a two row vehicle with a huge flat floor, and that flexibility is the actual product.

It also suits anybody who has priced a three row SUV recently and found that the ones with usable third rows cost more than they expected. A minivan gives you a third row an adult can sit in and sliding doors that do not slam into the car beside you in a packed Winnipeg parking lot. Those two things are worth more in daily life than the ride height a lot of shoppers think they want.

Where it does not fit is the buyer who needs all wheel drive, or who wants a plug in hybrid. Neither is offered here. That is a Pacifica conversation, and there is no point pretending otherwise.

Chrysler Canada publishes a "Starting At" figure for the Grand Caravan, but that number is not an MSRP and it should not be read as one. Those discounts change monthly, which means the published figure moves even when nothing about the van changes.
