2027 Chrysler Pacifica in Manitoba: Trims, Towing and What Changed

The Chrysler Pacifica is the minivan for the family whose week runs from a six o'clock practice at Stride Place to a gravel road out to the grandparents' farm to a full load for the lake. This page is the 2027 Pacifica in one place for a buyer anywhere in Manitoba, with Portage la Prairie and the Central Plains as home. Below are the trims sold in Canada and their prices, what changed for 2027, the engine and towing, and a first hand read on which version suits a prairie winter. To skip the reading, browse our new Chrysler Pacifica inventory, and if the family hauler you drive now is going in on trade, see what your current vehicle is worth first.
What Changed for 2027
Stellantis Canada's April 21, 2026 release on the 2027 Pacifica is the source for this section. The biggest change is the price. The release says 2027 Pacifica pricing comes down by as much as $7,200, with the largest cuts on the Limited and Pinnacle, and the trim by trim figures are below.
The van itself gets a refreshed front fascia with vertical LED headlamps, an updated wing badge and liftgate applique, new paint colours including Olive Green, and new wheel designs. A new adjustable height power liftgate is standard on all trims, so you can set it to stop short of a low garage door or a shop ceiling. The Pinnacle gets a new Blue Agave interior. The Enhanced Safety Sphere Package is optional, and the Uconnect Theatre Group and Family Tech Group are now offered separately rather than together. Our 2027 Chrysler Pacifica what's new post is the longer read on the changes.
2027 Chrysler Pacifica Trims and Prices in Canada
The release prices four 2027 versions, each including MSRP, $2,195 destination and additional fees, less any applicable incentives:
- Select FWD at $52,995, down $4,200;
- Select AWD at $57,995, down $4,200;
- Limited AWD at $63,995, down $7,200;
- Pinnacle AWD at $72,995, down $7,200.
Those are the release's figures from April. A van's own price depends on how it was built, so check our current pricing here on our new Chrysler Pacifica inventory. The release says all wheel drive is standard on the Limited and Pinnacle and available on the Select, and the model line on a van's window sticker shows which drive it has.
Select and Select AWD

The Select is the entry to the lineup and still a full Pacifica: Chrysler Canada's 2027 Select card lists LED fog lamps, LED tail lamps and projector headlamps, power sliding doors and liftgate, and the adjustable height liftgate. The Select AWD adds all wheel drive to the same van, and Stellantis Canada's release calls it the lowest priced seven passenger AWD minivan in Canada. For a family in town on plowed streets, the front drive Select on a good set of winter tires does the job. For a family on a grid road, the Select AWD is the one to price first. Our Pacifica AWD guide goes through the system.
Limited
The Limited is the Pacifica for long days in the van. Chrysler Canada's 2027 Limited card lists a dual pane sunroof, 18 inch Foreshadow Black wheels, Nappa leather seats with piping and S logo, and a wireless charging pad, and the release prices it with all wheel drive standard. It is the trim for the family that drives to the lake in July and the hockey tournament in February and wants the leather and the glass roof for both. Our Pacifica trim levels comparison lays the Select, Limited and Pinnacle side by side.
Pinnacle

The Pinnacle is the top of the range, and the release prices it with all wheel drive. Chrysler Canada's 2027 Pinnacle AWD card lists Blue Agave Nappa leather seats, copper alloy interior accent bezels and platinum chrome accents. The Uconnect Theatre Group and Family Tech Group are offered separately for 2027, so ask our team which groups the Pinnacle you are looking at carries; its window sticker lists them. Our Pacifica Pinnacle guide covers the trim in more depth.
Engine, Seating and Towing
Engine. Chrysler Canada's 2027 trim cards list the 3.6 litre Pentastar VVT V6 with Stop/Start and a nine speed automatic on every trim. Chrysler Canada's 2026 Pacifica page rates that engine at up to 287 horsepower.
Stow 'n Go. Stellantis Canada's release says the Pacifica is the only minivan to offer Stow 'n Go seating and storage as standard in the second and third rows, and the only minivan to pair all wheel drive with second row Stow 'n Go. In plain terms, the seats fold into the floor whichever drive you choose, so the Select AWD and the Pinnacle both turn into a cargo van for a trip to the hardware store.
Towing. The release says the available Trailer Tow Group gives the 2027 Pacifica towing of up to 1,632 kg (3,600 lb), which it calls best in class. That figure is the maximum with the Trailer Tow Group, so read the window sticker for whether a given van has the group, and the door jamb label for its own ratings. A small boat for Delta Beach or a pair of snowmobiles on a trailer is the kind of load in that range. Manitoba Public Insurance's Trailer Safety brochure says trailer brakes are required by law when the trailer's registered gross vehicle weight is more than 1,360 kg (2,998 lb), so a trailer loaded near the Pacifica's rating needs its own brakes.
The Manitoba Read
Here is how we would walk a family through the choice across the desk at Dunn Ram Trucks in Portage la Prairie.
Start with the road at the end of your driveway. On plowed streets in Portage, Winnipeg or Brandon, the front drive Select on winter tires is a sound prairie van. If your road is gravel for half the year, or the lane to the farm drifts in, all wheel drive helps a loaded van pull away from an icy stop and climb a slushy approach. It does not help the van stop or turn, which is the tires' job. We are a participating retailer in the MPI Winter Tire Program; if you qualify, you can apply for the program's financing with us, and Manitoba Public Insurance sets who is eligible.
Cold is the next question. A family van in Manitoba sits outside at minus 30 at the rink and the school, so before you sign, read the window sticker of that exact van for remote start and for heat in the second row if the kids ride back there. Ask our team whether the van has an engine block heater; our service department installs block heaters.
Then the size of the family. Chrysler Canada's 2026 page lists standard seating for up to seven with available seating for up to eight, and which 2027 trims can carry eight is a question for our team. A van already built shows its seating on the sticker.
